The night concludes with a high-stakes Group C showdown between Jordan and the UAE. Both nations enter the tournament aiming to challenge Egypt for the top spot, and this opening match could immediately reshape the group’s balance of power.
For the UAE, the mission is clear: respond with conviction after the painful playoff defeat to Iraq that ended their World Cup dreams. A strong start is essential, but it won’t come easily. Jordan are a disciplined, physical, and well-organized side, making them one of the toughest opponents in the group.
