ONE Friday Fights 137 Results: Liu Stuns Tawanchai With Leg Kick TKO, Siasarani And Yod-IQ Earn Contracts
ONE Championship closed out 2025 with a spectacular finale on Friday, December 19, as ONE Friday Fights 137 delivered stunning upsets and highlight-reel finishes at Bangkok's legendary Lumpinee Stadium
Chinese striker 'Spirit Dragon' Liu Mengyang sent shockwaves through the combat sports world by stopping reigning ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai in just 52 seconds of their featherweight kickboxing main event. The night also proved life-changing for Mohammad Siasarani and Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri, both of whom earned lucrative US$100,000 ONE Championship contracts.
Liu Mengyang Stuns Tawanchai In Historic Main Event Upset
'Spirit Dragon' Liu Mengyang authored one of the most surprising results in recent ONE Championship history, dropping Tawanchai PK Saenchai with a devastating leg kick TKO less than a minute into the main event.
Tawanchai started aggressively, using his trademark push kick to control distance and briefly putting Liu on the canvas. The 22-year-old Chinese striker responded immediately with a sharp right hand that forced the Muay Thai king backward, signaling that the bout would be fought at a blistering pace.
As Tawanchai continued to rely on his teep to manage range, Liu remained calm and methodical, repeatedly targeting the champion’s lead leg. The fourth strike to the same area proved decisive, as Liu fired a crushing inside calf kick that sent Tawanchai crashing to the canvas.
Unable to regain his footing before the referee’s count, Tawanchai suffered a shocking stoppage loss at 0:52 of round one. The victory improved Liu’s professional record to 35-7 and could propel him into contention for the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Title.

Zhang Peimian Returns To The Win Column
Former ONE World Title challenger “Fighting Rooster” Zhang Peimian rebounded with a strong performance, earning a unanimous decision victory over Thongpoon PK Saenchai in the featured strawweight kickboxing bout.
From the opening bell, the Chinese technician controlled the tempo, landing heavy left hands and sharp boxing combinations. Zhang asserted clear dominance in the second round, mixing punishing low kicks with precise punches to systematically break down his Thai opponent.
Thongpoon mounted a brief rally in the third round, but the surge was short-lived as Zhang weathered the offense and re-established control down the stretch. The disciplined display improved Zhang’s record to 19-5 and showcased his ability to execute a complete, round-by-round game plan.

Contract Winners Shine With Knockout Finishes
While ONE Friday Fights 137 featured a full slate of thrilling bouts, two fighters walked away with contracts and a permanent place on the ONE Championship roster.
Mohammad Siasarani earned a coveted US$100,000 contract by knocking out former ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Title challenger “Smokin” Jo Nattawut with a crisp jab-cross combination in the second round of their featherweight Muay Thai clash.
Moments later, Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri secured his own six-figure deal, delivering a spectacular first-round head kick knockout against Alexey Balyko in their featherweight Muay Thai rematch, bringing the Lumpinee crowd to its feet.
